Lost But Not Found
I am not a happy camper today. Last night, I lost my good gold ESQ dress watch made by Movado. I have had it for at least 10 years. It has been the best watch I have ever owned. Plated in 23 carat gold, it wore like brand new and I think I only replaced the battery a few times. Because I wore it so much, the clasp loosened and it came off several times but luckily I always found it and unbelievably, the crystal never broke (I meant to have it fixed). Yesterday was not one of those days where I found that it had slipped off. I went out and retraced all the stops and stores I had been in, to no avail. Luckily, I found it online and for much less than I paid for it 10 years ago when the price was considerably higher. It is slightly different as I wanted two-toned now instead of all god. A nice Valentine's Day present if I do say so. Of course, if I hadn't have lost it, it would have probably lasted another 10 years and I wouldn't be out what it will cost to replace it. Oi'. Lesson learned!

So sorry! I hear you again on this one. I lost my Mother's Ring that my husband gave me while dating. It slipped right off my finger to God knows where. I knew I needed to have it sized - I was going to get to it...
Have you left your name with those shops incase it's returned? You are in the Midwest now, it might be! :)
Yes, I did just that and haven't heard a thing yet. Someone probably picked it up and decided it was worth keeping. It was! Losing your Mother's Ring would have been a precious loss no doubt.
