Eat Your Vegetables-Illo Friday's "nourishment"

This week's Illustration Friday theme "nourishment" brought several ideas to mind. One being a food pyramid concept which has actually been a project on my drawing board that I have been planning to get to, just haven't had the time. Two people have already chosen to illustrate that theme so I will postpone finishing that concept for another day.

Here is an illustrated mural I painted in a client's home.

Those cherries look delicious and the vegetables look great too. Actually I did some vegetables too, but preserved though... :-)

Have a nice weekend!

What a lovely illustration. The vegetables and fruit look so appealing... and I normally don't like to eat my veggies! :D

Now how did I just KNOW that you would have vegatables as the focus of your illustration! Lovely work, Maggie.

Liselotte- This was my first attempt at painting vegetables. The client wanted the vegetables painted somewhat graphic and somewhat realistic looking-both at the same time. By the way your preserves are fabulous!

spunwithtears-thanks so much!

ms elle-thank you and remember you must be a good girl and eat all your vegetables or you can't leave the table!

Robyn- I am curious...how did you know that I would illustrate vegetables? :)
