"Dreams"

Far, far out into space, astronaunts dream of the time when they can return home, hungry for peanut butter, banana and pickle sandwiches, McDonald's shakes and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Freeze dried "copies" of these foods don't come close to the great taste of these earthly favorites! For a close up click here.

I really love this!
What a whimsical idea. I'm sure it's true! What a great composition!
Serious bush walkers dream the same thing here on Earth :) Beautifully executed image!
Thank YOU for these awesome comments. You made my day! I remember when I was on vacation for two weeks in Jamaica many years ago, I had this intense craving for pizza and tuna fish from a can. The great thing was, there were other Americans were with us who had thought to bring tuna and a can opener...I was thrilled! We ate toasted tuna sandwiches in an area where even beef was scarce. I cannot imagine how astronauts can go so long with these "necessities".
This is fun and fantastic. Making myself a PB&J sandwich right away!
Great idea and perfectly drawn. Don't they get PBJ in those little survival packs of dried food :)
Oooh! Really nice, Maggie! And a smart solution for 'Dream'!
SO cute!!!! And perfect for "Dreams"
Haha, I love it Maggie! I dream about food all the time too. Did you do it all in photoshop? Thank you for you nice comments on my pic this week :-)
I absolutely love your interpretation of the theme. Fantastic!
Again, many thanks to all who have left such great comments I am blushing a bit I think.
Kim, I don't know if they make PBJ's in those little packets but I know that would be my first request as an astronaunt going into space!
Jules, I created the complete illustration in Illustrator, no Photoshop used at all.
Anon, what is a bushwalker?
Paula, many thanks!
Can you imagine trying to eat peas or M & M 's in space? How about popcorn?
Great take on the theme...ad I LOVE your composition/design/visual approach! Looks great and it's full of wit and fun!
