Blind Contour Friday 09 & Illo Friday's "Fresh"

Often for breakfast (just this morning), I have hot oatmeal mixed with a spoonful of Sun Maid Raisins and a tad of brown sugar. Yum! It only stands to reason that I chose these items for InkFinger's Blind Contour Friday challenge.

This is about as "fresh" as it gets, eating a freshly opened container of Sun Maid raisins! I remember when my Mom would pack those tiny boxes of raisins in my lunch. The packages were so small and cute and you just hated to eat the last raisin. Well, now they come in great big containers so enjoy to your hearts content!

The blind countour gives this such lively feeling...the colors are wonderful...you carry the reds throughout so the eye moves around the whole composition. I love the lavendar background, and I love...the raisins! Oh, how i know exactly what you mean! Even those large round containers don't last long:>

The choice of using red for the linework makes it very interesting! I love how it came out over-all. and way to get it to work for both IF and BCF! Smart!

Kikazinha,

Não, contudo tento. Tenho um elo português de Tradutor em meu blog que eu uso para traduzir texto para mim. Meu pai das crianças é português então meu interesse é genuíno e tento de ensinar me tanto como posso.

Great stuff Maggie. I love the colours and the fact that your blind contour drawing LOOKS like a drawing! You can get the sunmaid lady on a t-shirt here

I LOVE this!! So colorful, so energizing--really great approach to the subject and the method of drawing. Btw, I have wanted many times to leave comments on your blog but it takes FOREVER to download and I'm not sure why. Today I forced myself to wait so I could finally tell you how much I like your work ;D.

Laura,

I checked with several people who regularly visit my blog and most have responded that it loads quite quickly for them and that they don't have any problems. I try to keep my files small in size and at 72 resolution so that they load faster. It may be Blogger that is slow in loading or it could be your connection. In any event, I am very happy to hear that you took the time to wait until the page loaded to leave a response, thank you, thank you!
