Starbuck Sketches

This fellow was really jovial and had a nice smile. He and his son both talked to me while I was sketching and didn't seem to mind a bit. For some reason he looks like a "Joe".

This fellow was incredibly self conscious while I was sketching him and kept fidgeting. He finally got up and left, but not before I was able to complete the sketch.

Great sketches! Wish I was brave enough to do this in public!

Poor guy! Have you ever thought it was a tad 'off' to sketch people when they're obviously uncomfortable with it? Maybe he goes to Starbucks to escape, too :(

That being said, it is a great sketch; I like how you've collaged it with the newspaper :)

Felicity-
Thank you and I know you could do it, your portraits are incredible!
Catherine- Yes, I do worry I might make some feel uncomfortable though most of the time I sketch so discreetly they have no idea. The newspaper is several of my actual Starbuck's receipts laid out to look like a newspaper.
