Blind Contour Friday 11

The antelope that hangs in our great room over my husband's favorite chair. I think I like the brown tones better, more natural to the antelope's environment. Which do you prefer?

I like them both but blue's more my color. People are getting so good at these now it's hard to tell they're blind contour.

This is really good. I do like the brown color better. It's more earthy and goes well with the subject,

Excellent! Hard to tell you did it as a blind contour. You are getting very good at this. Also you are now a link on my site. Thanks for the support.

Very interesting drawing, Maggie. I practice this once in a while, but never have the good results you have. Today there was news you might find amusing. In Norway a couple found a life size onyx moose and purchased it and put it in their yard. They woke up one night recently to the sound of crashing, and upon rushing to the window they were surprised to see two real life moose attacking their statue. The statue was DOA. and the monster moose got away with very big headaches. I swear it is true! Have a great week!

Janey, Karen and Holly. Thanks for your vote of confidence and choice of colors. I took love the blue but think the earthy brown works better with the subject.

To be honest, I did 4 blind contours of this antelope before I picked what I thought the best of the worst.

Holly, thank YOU for your support and I will gladly exchange the link.

Ginger,

What a bizarre story and quite funny though not so for the people who found the moose attaching their statue and the moose who butted heads with it. Thank you for sharing!

I agree, the brown tones give a more earthy, warm and wildlife feel, thus making the subject seem more alive and real.

Very nice. I just recently joined BCF and it's nice to see sites like yours. :-)
