Student Studying

During a short break at lunch, I sketched this young student studying at Starbuck's. I only had about 5 minutes so I had to draw quickly. She is actually writing on a paper directly behind the open book. The girl had the deepest dimple on her chin.

She's probably drawing you for the EDM draw in public challenge!

Very good in so little time.

Thank you Dede.

Julie, you know, you could be right, wouldn't that be funny?

I really like this. It has a quiet feel-like she is really absorbed in what she is doing. Well done Maggie.

I can't believe these are quick little sketches, they are so great. I need to practice my drawing more. Hope you can keep inspiring me!

Thank you, I do agree that the more you sketch the quicker you can capture a subject. I have noticed this in my case which I find gains me more confidence to try and capture the essence of a person as quickly as possible-some of my subjects are on the move, that's where it really gets challenging!
