Starbuck's Coffee- Ringing in the Holidays
I just love Starbuck's new advertising for the holidays, all line work with red and pale blue and white. I loved their cups so much I brought one home and decided to give it a go in illustrating it for Blind Contour Friday 16. Let me tell you, it isn't easy trying to redraw another's illustration, 3 dimensionally and in detail. Red's my favorite color and Starbuck's advertising puts me in the holiday spirit. Everytime you do another contour I like it better than the last this. This one is way cool!
What a wonderful BCD! The details on the guy and girl are fantastic! I somehow find how you drew the girl's shoes on to be really cute :-)
I don't know what the original looks like but this is great. It looks like he is twirling her right off the cup!
I love it. I also love starbucks too-actually too much. Their Christmas tunes on cd are pretty darn good as well.
This makes me feel like dancing! I love your work, Maggie and I'm sorry I gave you such a funny-looking face on BCF ;D. I'm SURE you're much better looking than that!
