Glad To Be Back
I'm so glad things are slowing down a bit so that I can post more work, it's been a hectic summer and I have all kinds of ideas I am working on. Thank you all for your support over this past year and I hope you'll continue to check back-yeah autumn is here!
Last night a tornado touched done less than a mile from our home, unbeknownst to my husband and I. We saw warnings across the TV screen about an area about 50 miles west of us but nothing else. Everyone told us at work today that our area was covered on every TV station with tornado warnings, how could we have missed it? I guess we'll have to find the RIGHT local TV station and too, we did not even hear the warning sirens go off though many did in other parts of town and we were standing at the window watching the storm. We live in this valley and I just don't think the sound resonates unless it is a quiet day, something you won't hear during a raging storm! My husband and I merrily continued our evening oblivious to what was happening other than lightning, rain and gusting winds. Oh the joys of living in tornado alley.
