It's Snowing!

Hooray, Hooray! I am so THRILLED, we have finally had our first snow! I woke up this moring and to my delight the ground is covered with beautiful white fluff! It has been coming down steady now for some time -snowing and blowing, the kind that is hard to see through- I LOVE IT! We talked last night that we might have to take down the Christmas lights and decorations without ever having our first snow, how sad. God must have heard our prayers for whitness! No pictures to post yet, I am sitting here looking through my studio window loving every delicate flake.

The last day to post until the New Year and so many possibilities ahead. My life is moving in new directions and my thought is to start the New Year with renewed vigor in my illustrative works and in my own personal growth as an artist. I'll unfold my goals as the year progresses, I do hope you'll stay tuned.

Happy New Year to All of You!

December Flurry

It seems like time has just flown by lately with not much time to post, especially now that December is here and Christmas is almost upon us. Feverishly trying "to wrap it all up" as they say. I am trying very hard not to get overwhelmed by it all this year and trying to pace myself. My husband is a rock of calm and stability through it all. Today we shopped all day and we managed to make some headway, something I haven't been able to do without him. Stopping by for a Latte at Starbuck's keeps me going. I picked up my Starbucks ornament and this year it was a duo-pack. Still haven't found where I packed 2004's though.

Last night we had my company's Christmas party at the Oak Hills Country Club which turned out lovely. I was SO thankful, as I am in charge of the event. The evening glittered as did everyone who attended and the food was fabulous. I wish I had taken photos, it was decorated so beautifully. Note to self: next year take camera.
