Flavors

For Illustration Friday's theme-flavors that I never get tired of. McDonalds shakes, chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter, dill pickle and banana sandwiches. M-m-m-m-m now that's flavor for ya!

Of course, being an astronaut (an illustration I did some time ago) and not having this kind of food up in space makes the thought of the flavors more mouth watering!

Happy New Year to All!

Holiday Traditions

One of my fondest memories was tracking up into the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree with my husband on our first Christmas together. We carved our initials in a nearby tree. For a close up view click here.

Seven More Days

Just seven more days...until Christmas! I can hardly believe how fast this year has gone by.

I have been harboring a nasty cold for a week now with no end in sight. This is tough as it is the first cold I have had in 6 years since living in California. There you don't get colds, you get allergies. :) Welcome back to the midwest and all its maladies. Ooooh and sub zero temperatures too!

To top it off my computer has been infected with hundreds of nasty viruses. I can still bearly function on it however my AMAZING husband will be reformating the whole thing and I will be as good as new soon. Hopefully in time to do more illustrations for Illo Friday before the end of 2005.

Gone But Not Forgotten

Just a note to let you know I am not away indefinitely. The holiday season rushed itself upon us with a slam dunk and I am afraid I wasn't prepared. So it's a mad rush where I will throw myself exhaustedly in a chair after Christmas is over and vow that my 2006 New Year's resolutions is to be completely organized, well in advance, so this won't cause me so much stress when Christmas comes around next year.

Does anyone else feel like this? If so, what do you do to de-stress and stay organized?

I am still working on several projects at the moment, here and there as I have a minute, and will post them when I can.

Wishing you a Joyful Holiday Season!!
