A Beautiful Surprise!

Last weekend I received the most beautiful surprise in the mail. I opened the door and found a large box filled with the most beautiful dried hydrangeas from my very talented online friend Kim. You can see her busily preparing them here.
Kim, I can't thank you enough for this very beautiful surprise, I am overwhelmed that you cared enough to send them to me and I have them proudly placed about my home. I wanted to post these photos earlier but since hubby reformatted my computer, he hadn't loaded the drivers for my camera. Above are photos taken with the sun coming in through the window and again at night. I still need filler for the bottom of the vases but wanted to show you that they arrive perfect and unharmed. The colors are amazingly beautiful for being dried. Is there a certain time that you must pick them to dry so they don't lose their color and turn brown?
Thank you again Kim, for your kindness and friendship, you are gifted with more than just creativeness!

Maggie: I am so glad and delighted you like them. I was a little embarrassed because I had them sitting around in a corner, IN THE BOX, or so long. I finally got my act together, gathered up all of those boxes in the corners and made it to the post. Next year, I promise to be a little more ON THE BALL :) Aren't the colors, even dried petals, incredible? Thank you for being such a wonderful internet friend. I have been blessed since blogging to have met you!
