Great drawing - almost feel like I'm there! Liz
Pretty good for a 'quick' sketch, Maggie. I love the paper.
Cheers,

Scratches & Scribbles
lovely drawing.
That's wonderful, Maggie! So bright and bold!
Wonderful sketch, and the color just makes it!
I am still in awe of those of you who can find time to sketch at meals. Your drawing has wonderful character.
Great drawing! I love the use of color -- very spicy and Mexican!
:-)
The orange coloured background is effective Maggie.
You and Julie Oakley have always reminded me of each other. This drawing reminds me a bit of Julie''s drawings of her husband Robin. Your styles, though obviously different, have something in common, something I can't quite put my finger on. I love both your work, though, and it is fun to go back and forth between your blogs.
Thank you all! I took a chance using the orange background, not a color I normally would use however I do like the results.
Laura,
Thank you for your observations, now you have me curious and I must go check out Julie's illustrations again to see if I can identify what you see!
YUMMY illustration and I am sure the enchies were fab!!
I love mexican food! YUM
Love the colors and the added textures. Hey did they have a menu with illustrated people on it? If so, that was my illustration. I did the Fernando's menu about 5 years ago. I've been wondering if they still use it.
