Blind Contour First Friday

Tonight my husband had a great idea to go to Moe's grill for dinner. We sat in a booth by the window. Right across the courtyard was CheeseBurger CheeseBurger. I drew the unsuspecting patrons in blind contour. It's tough to eat and draw in blind contour at the same time! Ok, so it was half a blind contour because I kept picking my pencil up to start drawing again between bites. There was a set of patio furniture and a huge planter with a tree in it between the restaurants. For more cool BC's visit InkFinger!

Oh, this is such a happy drawing! I love the way your added photoshop colors and layers give so much depth and spatial complexity, Maggie.

I LOVE this one! I think you're really on to something here. Love the style and the color palette. You need to do many many more like this. Maybe eating helped fuel your creativity. Maybe you need to hit up every cafe in Omaha and keep drawing. You really need to go to the Old Market and sketch.
