Disco Fever- A Music Portrait

For Illustration Friday's "portrait", a portrait of one of the greatest music era's in history. Who can forget "Saturday Night Fever?" And, for Blind Contour First Friday-June's theme "favorite." One of my favorite memories is the disco dancing era and Donna Summer's songs "Dim All The Lights", "She Works Hard for The Money", and "Bad Girls." And who can resist John Travolta? Wow, now there are some great memories. Toot, Toot! Beep, Beep!
We just got back in late Wednesday night from attending our daughter's graduation in Idaho which was a joyful ocassion. A very sad time ahead though, I will be flying to Canada tomorrow in the am to attend the funeral of my father-in-law. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
I will try to finish it in color upon my return. The month of May has been a busy one.

Maggie, I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law's death. Your daughter's graduation is another very important passage---altogether a very emotional time for you and your family. Take care, my friend.
Hi Maggie, disco fever what fun! This brings back memories, very cleverly drawn in blind contour style.
I too am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. :) But, I did want to tell you how much I loved this particular drawing. I'm a writer myself, so I'm always stunned when people can actually draw and paint! hehe
Big hugs to you,
Christina
I LOVe this one!
