Maggie, this is really wonderful. I love the way your captured their gestures. They look so relaxed. You are NOT rusty at all. This is one of your best!
LOVELY LOVELY SKETCH!! Super job capturing that 'at ease' feeling!
Nice relaxed line work. Welcome back!
I've missed your Starbucks sketches! Super - you don't look rusty at all!
Beautifully drawn, Maggie. You have completely captured the relaxed and intimate tone of their conversation. And we should all be so rusty ;D.
Lovely drawing. Great stuff.
That is good advice for yourself. :-) And thanks for your kind comments!
A wonderful sketch, Maggie! Love the effect of the green, too... quiet but fresh and bold at the same time.
I really like this and wonder how it was done. Did you draw it in your sketchbook and then scan and color it in Photoshop or Illustrator? Or did you use colored paper white colored pencil? I'd love to know.
Ryan, are you here?
Very nice sketch. I see people sketching quite often at various Starbucks that I visit when I'm working remotely.
Next time you go to Starbucks or Peets or whatever your favorite coffee vendor is, order your triple shot caramel mocha "with a smiley". In the beginning, you're probably going to get some puzzled looks, but just explain to the baristra that you're asking that they put a smiley on the bottom outside of the cup. When you're done drinking your beverage, everyone around will be able to see your mood with this new "mood drink".
O.K. stupid? Corny? Big waste of time? You bet! Today is March 14th, 2008. Let's see how long it takes before this adopted by the entire coffee drinking world!
