Illustration Friday ~ I Spy

I SPY Holey Moley in the yard! My mother and father-in-law had some very industrious visitors in their yard that destroyed their lawn. As terrible as that was, it was quite comical watching my husband and Dad out in the yard hovering over the holes trying to catch the little buggers. I sat and sketched what I imagined their little yard guest would be doing at night. Hopefully they have found new "digs."

Fun illustration.
Reminds me when I was four and we had gophers in our backyard which drove my dad crazy.I decided to grab a shovel and wait for one of them (or all of them) to pop his head out of the whole. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting.....

Lovely illustration! We used to have moles a few years ago and we never saw them, just lots of holes!

This is great! Such an unlikely suspect. And yet it makes perfect sense.

Reminds me of the rat that intruded our garden. I wonder how are they going to get rid of it? Great illustration!

What a sweet illustration, I love all the fun details, like the hat with the flashlight. I know they can be trouble, but they are so cute. :-) Great work!
