River Views

Did I say how blue our water is on the Great Lakes? Unbelievably blue- a turquoise and marine blue. I captured this photo while we were driving along the river and I only had a moment to snap the picture. There was a man with her, down on the rocks fishing from shore.

The waves were high on the river that day, a gorgeous color of blue.

Another impressive ship as it quietly glides through the water making it's way down the river.

So much stalwart energy in that top photo, isn't there? The wind tugging at hat and skirt, the water surging with so many spangling facets, the woman's perserverance into the wind -- and her jaunty spring colors and flowers. Love it!
